A piece of fabric,
gathered, stitched, and kept.

Some ideas are drawn first,
others arrive by touch.

That is how Moko Moko takes shape.

The Soul of Moko Moko

I have always been drawn to fabric, to the way it folds, gathers, softens, and quietly changes with light and touch. For me, cloth is never just material. It carries mood, memory, and a kind of warmth that feels close to everyday life.

Moko Moko grew from this feeling. I wanted to make pieces that felt gentle, but never dull; soft, but still precise. I'm especially interested in the small tensions that happen within textile work: patchwork and balance, sweetness and restraint, softness and contrast.

As I make, I often think less in terms of designing a product and more in terms of composing an atmosphere. The choice of fabric, the relationship between colors, the way volume sits, the slight irregularities that happen by hand, these are the things that give each piece its life.

I don't want Moko Moko to feel overly polished or distant. I want it to feel warm, tactile, and quietly memorable. Something you can wear, keep close, and slowly grow attached to.

At its heart, Moko Moko is my way of sharing a softer sensibility through handmade work, one shaped by fabric, feeling, and the beauty of things made with care.
